In her free time, Katy and her family love traveling and discovering local eateries. Her husband, Matt, a United States Marine with 16 years of service, is always on the hunt for the best BBQ spots wherever they go. Their daughter Carolynne, age four, enjoys gymnastics and the outdoors, while their one-year-old son Michael brings endless energy and fun to the family. Completing their household are their beloved pets: Bella the German Shepherd, Lucy the Boxer, and Chief the Cat.
